- Foundation of MEDTRON Medizinische Systeme GmbH
The aim: to develop, make and market medical devices for the field of radiology and to set up an international distribution and service network - Development of the CT injector Injektron 82, first compact injector controlled by microprocessor
1993
- Introduction of the CT injector Injektron 82 M, a special type of CT injector that enables the use of prefilled injection

1996
- Presentation of the Angio-/CT injector Injektron 82 HP, first combined injector for application in angiography and computed tomography.
1998
- Presentation of the MRT injector Injektron 82 MRT, approved for the use with 3 tesla tomographs.
2000
- Introduction of the CT injector Injektron CT2, first double piston injector worldwide for application in computed tomography; it has been awarded the Saarland State Prize for Product Design.
2002
- 10th anniversary of MEDTRON

- Change of legal form to “Incorporated Company” (inc.), trading now under the name of MEDTRON AG
- Presentation of the Touch Screen Remote Control for Injektron CT2 and Injektron MRT
